Description
The purpose of this policy is to:
- Promote best practices in the administration of Nova Scotia Health’s financial resources and assets through a consistent organization-wide framework of signing authority and delegation of that authority where appropriate
- Provide clarity on roles and responsibilities to enable administrators and others to manage their areas of responsibility in an effective, efficient, and transparent manner
- Ensure sound financial accountability and control of public funds entrusted to Nova Scotia Health in compliance with appropriate policies, laws, regulations, and directives issued by the Department of Health and Wellness.
