This OP3 page now hosts policies and procedures from the former Capital District Health Authority as well as policies that apply to Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA). On this site, you will find the most up-to-date policies and procedures for your area.
Where new NSHA policies have taken the place of a DHA policy, they have been replaced on this site and you must use the newer NSHA policy.
The Policy Framework policy has been approved by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and is now published. This policy provides the direction needed if you are developing or reviewing a policy – and much more! Read more here
If you are considering developing or revising a policy that is zone or site specific, prior to proceeding you need to read the document Handling Policy Decisions – Interim
If your area/facility uses paper copies of policies, it is important that you ensure you are using the most up-to-date version by checking on this site.
